Hi All,

I'm new to the forum. I'm really grateful that you are all here!

I'm having a problem with saving a few preset patches for my synth before I distribute it to the masses.

I find references in the documentation about the "Patch Select" module, but can't find it anywhere in my modules folder. I imagine it must be a module that has been phased out with version 1.1 (which is what I have). The closest modules I have are "Patch Info" and "Patch Automator". I have no clue how to use these, though I've tried to figure them out from some examples. Can someone please explain or point me to a pre-existing explanation?

Thanks a ton,

esteband

only drop the "Patch Automator" into the main container.

Thanks - I've given that a go. But now I can't figure out how to save or name the patches that will be distributed with the synth. The only option that patch automator makes available are load (through the "file" dropdown") and "copy".

I looked at the PD-303 example that came with SE, and it has custom patches and names, but no "patch info" module. I'm very perplexed by this...

I know I'm missing a crucial step. Can you fill me in?

on the top of the main container appears arrows+files menu
to drive/save your patches/.fxp/.fxb. the features are very basic.
also i suggest to use minihost or cantabile to manage/edit the presets.
i don't use 'patch info'.

do you know, you can post here a prefab/picture, to watch where your
problem occurs. it's easier to see where is the mistake.

OK, thanks for your suggestions - I'll give minihost a try. So when I create an .fxb, do I save it as an embedded file with the VSTi?
